Ugliest Car of the Year While sister
car Fiat Grande Panda wins Styling of the Year award, Citroen C3 is
deemed to be the ugliest car went into production last year. How come
it did that? Well, recent Citroens always have some oddness in their
designs, but they usually compensate with beautiful shapes or radical
ideas. Not so the C3, which is built on the cheap "Smart car platform"
orignally designed for India and South America. Its shape is bulky and,
perhaps to avoid re-engineering, the design details look ordinary. This
is not helped by the ugly new Citroen logo. So many things went wrong.
